There are a couple of fuses and a relay that deal with the blower motor. Below is a picture of the fuse panel layout (the fuse panel in the right side kick panel). The 2 red arrows are the locations of the 2 fuses I am talking about and the relay that is marked with the yellow arrow is the location of the blower motor relay. Hope this helps.....

Hi!
To find out if your problem is the blower motor or the blower resistor or switch perform the following tests.
BLOWER RESISTOR
BLOWER SPEED CONTROL SWITCH
Switch Position (1) Continuity Between Terminal No.
(1) With switch in any position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 4 for heater control illumination. With switch in OFF position, continuity should not exist between any other terminals.
(2) Circle (D) closest to LO position.
(3) Circle (D) closest to HI position.

It is located under the dash of the front passenger side. Yes, it is accessible to a shade-tree mechanic.
Write down the code of your radio if it has anti-theft device.
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the plastic panel under the glove-comparment with a 4-point screw-driver.
3. The blower-motor assembly is black in color-all plastic construction, and its cylindrical in shape. Disconnect the electrical plugs that go to the side of the blower-motor.
4. Three-bolts held up the blower motor to its body. Remove them and take out the blower-motor.
5. Installation is reverse of removal.

First, turn on the fan motor to high, and then tap the bottom of the motor. The brushes stick to the armature, and tapping the motor will release them. Second, check for voltage at the connector for the motor. It should be 3 VDC at position 1, 6 VDC at position 2, 9 VDC at position 3, and 12 VDC at the highest position. No voltage at 1/2 & 3 = replace the heater resistor, located in the air box between the fan & the heater core. No voltage at all? Replace the fan switch.
