any difficulty in registering for warranty with a manufacturer can be resolved simply by calling the manufacturer's customer help line and talking to an operator

Hi. Try to check the sims 3 cd if it has any scratches, if it has check this website (click here) on how to remove those scratches. If the cd is irreparable, you can download the game online using EA download manager. Have you tried to register your game to EA website? If you not follow these steps:
1. Open EA download manager (if you don't have that program download it from this site) 2. Click "Register" 3. Find the game you want to register in your case that would be "SIMS 3" 4. It will ask for your registration code which can be find in the booklet inside the cd case. 5. When your done with the registration, click "log in". 6. The program will then show you the game that you have registered and you can now "download" it.

I have never heard of FixYa offering anything like that; are you sure you are at the right website? Other than registering as a member, I don't find any place to register products since FixYa only links to sellers, it doesn't sell products directly.
