It could be the foam edging where the speaker meets the edge of the cone. Rubber works better than foam, and I believe kicker uses foam for this model. Check for any missing screws because sometimes air leaks make that sound you hear. also try turning down the amp a little bit
check your spark from coil make sure battery not to run down crank over with hood almost closed in a dark place and look for dancing fire arround distributor cap while trying to start
if the coil mas dancing fire then replace it if bat low get a boost
make sure amlpifiers and stereo equip not coming on while trying to start
It sounds like one or more of the output components is failing on the amp. You can contact Kicker support directly for instructions to return the amp for repair: [email protected] . Alternatively, if you have a local car audio shop that does component level repairs, they could perhaps save you some money and time.
Make sure to tune the amp according to the subs. Turn all the levels down on the amp, then start with turning up the gain till you can tell the sub is struggling, from there turn up the crossover to around 120hz. Then adjust the gain again as now it will prolly be to high. Also it depends on how you have the subs wired up.
possible out from radio is bad or rear input on amp put front rca in the rea and see wht happen if you get sound use two y splitter and make connection to amp
