KGRE801PBS00 Kitchen aid oven I can not find the serial number anywhere
Open the bottom drawer and pull it completely out and away from the range. Lay down on the floor with a flashlight, reading glasses, paper, and pencil. Record both the model # and serial # being careful to notice the difference between the letter O and numeral 0. On second thought, just throw the range in the dump and find and old range from the 1960s and then locate spare parts. It will last you the rest of your life. Guard it with your life! You hear all this stuff about the environment and carbon footprints and such. My mother-in-law still has the same freezer she bought in 1956 and it works great. The selling point to newer appliances is that they use less energy and therefor pollute mother planet less.
How much energy and materials does it take to buy new appliances every four years because the company decided not to make the computer card any more. What is the environmental cost in energy and raw materials eg the steel, aluminium as well as other chemicals in order to make an appliance. Now of course it used to be made in Indiana someplace and now it is made in Korea and then slurps diesel fuel as it makes its way half way around the world.
I think it started in the 1970s somewhere - when we decided to surrender truth, common sense and self reliance and let every progessive thinker manipulate every cornier of western life. So my friend, it begins with Model and Serical numbers on your modern **** items and ends with some bureaucrat writing you a ticket for using fertilizer on your lawn.. bla bla bla
[email protected] and type 'Attention: Audrey' in the subject line. Please include your full name, phone number, and model and serial number, and I would be happy to try to help resolve the situation with your appliance.
