We have a Glow worm (swift flow; Honeywell) boiler. The problem is that we have never seen a manual for this type of boiler and so dont know whether we have the settings right. We have boiling water in the kitchen but cold or luke warm water in the bathroom -so running a bath is impossibe.
The heating works fine and the boiler lights fine. Can anyone offer some advice as to what the correct setting should be - we have a choice of red dot; red wavy flame or spiky circle!

some times inside the boiler on the internal pipework you will see little sensors, on the central heating piping there sometimes is a thermastic sensor on side of flow pipe with a little reset button on ? i guess with the problem you said the poiler locked out and the pipe work overheated ? this is a safety feature on some boilers not, all and easerly reset via this button ?
what is it set at now
