Picture blinks on and off

maybe you set it in freeze mode or timer.... the blinking reason mostly is for freeze and standby mode.... try to rest your program in tv.

Ur LCD Inverter board is dead.Replaced this board u will get the picture back.It a long board.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter backlight board.

If the led light is on or blinking, go ahead and replace the mainboard, if there is no led light at all, then replace the powerboard.

32 in vizio turns on but but no picture only blue screen and cant turn channels up or down

our brand new Vizio 32 HDTV has poor sound quality, so irritating in it's flat muffled character that I can't watch it. My electrical engineer husband as attempted to change it (he does not hear the difference between the Vizio and our two Sony...there is a BIG difference) by turning off the surround sound. But to me nothing has changed. What do you think? it sounds a little bit like an old radio or a broadcast from inside a closet. Hmmm

you need to change the aspect ratio on your cable box from 4:3 to 16:9. sould be under menu/setting/. if not try using the format button on the remote. hope this helps

My vizio has the same problem, no picture with only sounds. I tried calling vizio for help but their customer service and or tech support REALLY **** big time! They tossed me around to here and there with no solutions. My only suggestion to you is that, tell everyone related to you or your friends to not ever buy vizio again. Too many people is having problems with these sucky tvs. I'm still not sure what I am going to do with mine. Maybe I'll just let it fly down from a three story building!

The lines in the picture and the blinking makes me think maybe the digital / logic board is going bad.. you will need a tech to resolve this and it will be expensive.. In time you will loss the picture altogether as the board will get worse.
