I have a McCulloch, that the hose rotted off the fuel strainer in the tank, I replace the hoses, it ran for awhile then stopped, removed the carb. an have cleaned, { 7 Times} it runs for awhile then stops, Usually I dump lighter fluid in the carb. if it starts Ign is OK if not its a fuel problem. You could check on the filter, I still have a problem with mine, its a pain when your on the roof an it stops. so check the fuel filter is the only thing I could suggest to you GOOD LUCK
SOURCE: Husqvarna leaf blower, replace starter cord Model 132 HBV
remove the starter housing, usually only 3 or 4 bolts or screws. on the inside should be a large white or black wheel, hold the outer case with one hand and rotate the wheel counter-clockwise with the other as many times as can without force. on the inside of the wheel should be a small hole, rotate the wheel to line it up with rope guide hole on the outer case/housing. use a nail or small screwdriver to help hold in place. feed the start rope through the 2 holes and tie a knot at the end, single or double depending on the size of the hole. if the end of the rope is frayed, use lighter to melt and twist to a point to make it easier to handle. when reassembling you may need to jiggle the handle for realignment. it works on an inner spring coil tensioner system, so if the cable has no tension when rotated or doesn't recoil back, the starter assembly will need to be replaced.
SOURCE: Need to know specifications of spark plug for Ryobi Leaf Blower
Hi,
You can download the manual at www.managemyhome.com. I have the Ryobi 720r and the sparkplug is a champion RDJ7Y.
Good luck!
SOURCE: My Ryobi RBL30MVA. leaf blower will not start,
I have had this exact same problem with the same model after just one hours use.
Returned it a week later and after 2 months the replacement did the same thing.
Returned that one and got a third. A week later that ones doing the same thing again after only an hour or so use.
Obviously some defect in them.
I'll be getting my money back and visiting the local mower center to get their help rather than doing the guess work my self and ending up with a dodgy model
