What model amp and what model subs they have dozens of models.

  • Anonymous Jan 10, 2009

i have a set of used 12" squares for $75 each (less than a year old) or i can get you new for about $150 each shipped, the amp i recommend is 2000 watts but a 1600 watt works well too the amps are about $250 for the 1600 and about $330 for the 2000 watt but i always go bigger with brutus subs because they can take it without issues. i personally have 2 12" brutus squares that i run with 2000 watts rms all day in my daily driver, i replaced 4 12" L7 and 4 1500 watt kicker amps with this combo and it is louder and cleaner than the kickers were. All products ship straight to you from the manufactures distributor warehouse with full factory warranty. if you want a package deal i will go $600 shipped for a pair of 12" with the bigger 2000 watt amp all shipped. you can buy it just a little cheaper on ebay ect... but you will not have a warranty. even if the seller says you do trust me you will have no warranty at all. Maxxsonics uses serial number tracking on all items and they know who buys wholesale and who doesn't they also can tell by the SN if the original person is a wholesaler for ebay as well. I used to sell on ebay but i do not anymore because a warranty is important to most customers. the 1600 amp retails at $400 and the 2000 watt for $800 the subs retail at $300 each so im less than 1/2 retail with a full factory honored warranty. let me know i have great deals on almost any brand there is.

12" L7 are 225-250 and 12" L5 are 175-200 price is negotiable a little bit but they come with a 1 year warranty.

the brutus subs are way better though and alot cheaper I personally quit using Kicker for my competiton vehicle and only use hifonics now and need 1/2 as many subs for almost twice the sound.

I can do the 12" brutus for 150 shipped unless u buy 2 at a time and then i will go 130 each.

Why does the hifonics bxi1608d 1600 watt super D-class mono have 2 postive terminals and two negative terminals? would that cause my speakers to blow?

That is still a single channel cass D amp. Each (-) and each (+) terminal are connected so its actually like only having one. This is so you can hook speakers up in a series circuit to lower impedance, because this amp is 1ohm stable. What causes your speakers to blow is too much power. What kind of speakers are you running? This hifonics amp is very powerful, they are getting big in the competition industries beacuse they put our true power for less money and they are tough. That 1600 amp you have may be putting out more like 1800 watts at 14.4 volts which is 900 per sub at 1ohm so be careful this amp has tons of power and its true rated its not like a sony or rocksford or kenwood that says 1800 max and then in small writing it says 500 rms. This amp puts out true. I have 3 hifonics amps and love them.

Need mosfets for hifonics amp sfp50n06

That is a Semiwell part I believe. It is an N-Channel power mosfet. Go look on their website they may have an alternate part you can use.

I have a 2000 watt hifonics brutus amp ...it worked fine but 1 day it just stopped working..the power light doest light up but the hifonics led lights are still on...whats the problem?

there is a step up converter inside the amp that likes to come loose from the board. This may be your problem. Otherwise Check all the chips for burns or disconnect

I have a HiFonics 1206D amp and it keeps blowing the main fuse

The 60A fuse is WAY too small!!

The amplifier's Fuse is 80A
You will want the MINIMUM battery fuse @ 80A as well.

Since the current draw at the battery is greater because of the resistance of the wire - an 80A - 100A fuse is recommended.

The purpose of this fuse is to protect your BATTERY if something happens along the length of power wire.

What kind of "shop" are you using?? I would find another one!
