Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. From what you've described in your question, it sounds very likely that you have a blockage somewhere between the cleaner head and the bin. Please follow the steps shown in the video above to locate any obstructions from the cleaner head, and to remove any threads or hair from around the brush bar. Once you've done this, it's also a good idea to follow the steps shown in our online Support guide for help locating blockages in the internal hose: http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/dc50/dc50-animal/my-machine-is-not-working/machine-not-sucking-picking-up-as-well-as-usualdc50/dc50-clearing-the-brush-bar-video/redirect-to-internal-hose/check-the-internal-hosedc50 If you would like any further advice from one of our experts after you've tried this, you can reach our freephone UK Helpline on 0800 298 0298. If you email me directly at [email protected] with some further information about which parts you're trying to remove, I should be able to help.
I'm not entirely familliar with Windows 7 but XP and Vista have a built in program called "Windows Movie Maker" that I have used successfully to import videos to my computer many times.
It sounds like your battery is shot and needs to be replaced. Before you spend any money on it though, I recommend that you take your camcorder and that battery to a camera shop and have them test the battery and the camera's recharging system.
