Need to find out where to send kicker amp to have it fixed

Try using a continuity tester turn the amp on as normal play the head unit and see if you get a reading or you can try using a different sub woofer if the problem persists I could be your amplifier then

when you say swing arms i assume you are talking about the wires connecting the terminal (where you connect the wires to the sub) to the voice coil (the center of the sub).


If these are broken it is tricky to solder new wires back on. If your sub is still under warranty i would suggest sending it back to them. below is there number and business hours.

Unfortunately no. Once the voice coil is blown, that's it. I know that kicker has some recone kits, but the speaker is not able to be broken down for repair. I think you can send them off to kicker for repair, but for the cost, you can almost buy a new one. Sorry, I know it's not what you wanted to hear. www.kicker.com

• For years Kicker has always been my favorite amp. For this amp I advise against bridging two speakers to it. This amp is intended to rune one speaker at no more than 2 Ohms total. If you bridge 2 speakers to this amp, you may burn the amp up or for sure send the amp into protect mode.

Good day ma'am, hi, hooking up an extra amp. on your radio is done by audio professionals, but if you can remove the radio out from your ford, you can install that extra amp. Just follow the diagram below. You need to find line out of your radio to line in of your kicker amp. connect them using audio shielded cables. connect your speakers to the amp. I guess you this already.

It sounds like one or more of the output components is failing on the amp. You can contact Kicker support directly for instructions to return the amp for repair: [email protected] . Alternatively, if you have a local car audio shop that does component level repairs, they could perhaps save you some money and time.

that would be the amp. sorry to say. when a wire crosses over, it sends a shock through the amp, there are a few things to try just to see if you fried the amp. the first thing to try is to move your ground to a different location. second thing to look at would be the fuses. alot of times the fuses will blow at the slightest shock. the amp will still turn on if you have an amp with 2 fuses, it just wont be getting all the power it needs, which could be causing your problem. also, it is worth the hour and a half to mount everything down in your vehicle. you might check the kicker website, because i have herd rumors that kicker offers a lifetime warranty on almost all of their products. best of luck, and i hope you didnt fry your amp.

I am having the same issue, my kicker kx 1200 watt amp was pushing two JL Audio W6 12's and amp has power but no speaker out put, sending my amp to kicker for the thrid time. I tryed in my friends car with no luck.
