I found the cartridge at globeunion [[email protected]], 888-328-2383. They told me they are shipping the cartridge to me today at no cost ("lifetime warranty") and they immediately emailed a part diagram of the whole Fontaine NF-VCTST-BNV-TSRVH Single Handle Pressure Balanced Tub and Shower Trim and Valve with Rain Showerhead (from the Monaco Series).

I have a Mira sport shower it works but dose not get hot is it the thermastate that's gone I have had it for about 12 years

The thermostatic cartridge is the part of the shower valve which control's the temperature of the water, therefore if there is a problem with the water temperature, the absolute probability points towards the thermostatic cartridge being at fault.

I would suggest you extract the thermostatic cartridge, remove any bits blocking water flow into the cartridge and then soak it in limescale remover. Put silicone grease on the O'rings. Install it again. If that doesn't work, the element within the cartridge could be faulty, so you could try replacing the element. If that doesn't work you will have to either replace the entire shower valve or replace the cartridge.

All of what I've said is based on the assumption that you are receiving hot water to your shower valve.

I've been working with thermostatic cartridge for many years and can tell you with confidence the above information likely applies to yourself. Shower Thermostatic Cartridge Spares

Hansgrohe PB shower cartridge (brand new) passing water thru cold side with valve turned off. Six-year old cartridge replaced the other day. Removed side filters and cleaned. O-rings ok. Applied silicon...

What is the model number of the unit in question? What color was the old cartridge in the valve and the new cartridge that you replaced it with? If no model number do you have any pictures of this valve/trim in question? It could be that you got the wrong replacement cartridge or something is not properly aligned within the valve. Feel free to contact me direct at Hansgrohe. I'd be happy to help. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David. Or email me at [email protected]

We installed a Fontaine shower head and the water flow is very low for the hot water and it is not warm.

Your issue sounds like a control issue and not shower head. Look for shut off valves near the control valve. If all is okay, disassemble and clean the control valve.
