Today i went to a guitar practice thing and i had my phone from 12pm to around 5pm...it worked fine all day until 4:50 when i made a call i noticed that there was no ringing so i looked at the phone and it was blank.completely turned off and this has happned befor but i use to b able to take out the battery and turn it back on now the phone wont turn on at all...the key pads light up for a sec and then go off but thats about it...another wierd thing is that when the razr is closed the little window(or w.e the name is)sometimes turns on and displayes "unable to charge" or the time and when i open the phone beacuase i think it works it turns off again...now i put it in the charger and after an hour of messing with it it FINALLY said charging but for all that time the phone still didnt turn on...i need help on fixing this because i hav alot of important contacts, photos,ect... PLEASE is theere ANYTHING i can do?
I went to bed lastnight and my phone was on and worked fine, i woke up this morning and the light was on but nothing else. my phone wont *** on atall now, i tried taking the battery and simcard out but still nothing, can u help me?

This may or may not work but give it a shot. At times the silver battery contacts can get a small amount of buildup on them preventing a good contact. Remove the battery and sim chip from the phone, take a regular pencil eraser and clean the contacts on both the battery and sim chip. Clean the eraser residue off both and reinstall. Charge the phone for a couple of hours and try it out. Hope this helps!

thanks for the idea but no it didnt work i dont mind the phone as much as i do all the contacts,pictures,ect...it would be great if you had anymore ideas or know anyone who might be able to help...
My Moto Razr V3 was working just fine; had it on today and sent a text message, no problems, then I picked it up when it starting ringing with an in-coming call but the screen was black and not showing the call display and when I flipped it open to answer the screen was black and I could not hear anyone on the other end. I turned off the phone and back on again, did not help. Took the battery out and Sim card, replaced them, etc. several times but it never recovered. I do get the start up tone when I turn it on but nothing else.
ALL I WANT IS TO LEARN HOW I CAN GET MY NUMBERS OUT OF MY PHONE.. I COULD CARE LESS THAT ITS BROKEN I JUST NEED TO GET MY NUMBERS
