Their manual doesn't cover much and this does seem to be a fairly common problem. Have you tried upgrading the memory in the unit? The quickest way would be to contact DUAL during business hours.
Thank you,
Lee

You need to install another memory card with high capacity to solve this problem.

How to resolve the memory low system

Hi Anon, this is Microsoft's answer to low memory messages, and I would only add the suggestion that you check for viruses and other unwanted programs hogging your computer's memory. How to prevent low memory problems Running fewer programs at one time can help prevent low memory problems and information loss. It's a good idea to observe which programs show signs of low memory conditions and try not to run them at the same time.
However, it's not always convenient or practical to run a limited number of programs. Signs of low memory can indicate that the computer needs more RAM to support the programs you use. Here are the recommended ways to solve or prevent low memory problems:
  • Increase the paging file (virtual memory) sizeWindows automatically attempts to increase the paging file size the first time your computer becomes low on memory, but you can also manually increase it up to a maximum size that is determined by the amount of RAM installed. Although increasing the paging file size can help prevent low memory problems, it can also make your programs run more slowly. Because your computer reads information from RAM much faster than from a hard disk (where the paging file is), making too much virtual memory available to programs will slow them down.
For more information, see Change the size of virtual memory.
  • Install more RAM
If you see signs of low memory, or if Windows warns you about a low memory problem, check the information that came with your computer or contact the computer manufacturer to determine which type of RAM is compatible with your computer, and then install more RAM. To install RAM, check the information provided by the manufacturer.
For more information, see Find out how much RAM your computer has.
  • Determine if a program overuses memory
If the computer becomes low on memory whenever you run certain programs, one or more of those programs might have a memory leak. To stop a memory leak, you need to close the program. To repair a memory leak, you need to check for updates for the program or contact the publisher of the software.
To determine which program is using the most memory, follow these steps:
    1. Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.
    2. Click the Processes tab.
    3. To sort programs by memory usage, click Memory (Private Working Set).
You can also check for program errors and troubleshooting information using Event Viewer.
    1. Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818.jpg, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clickingAdministrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer. 18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b_48.jpg If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the left pane, click Applications and Services Logs to view error events. To see a description of the problem, double-click the event. To see if troubleshooting information is available, look for a link to online Help.

For more information, see What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?

Hi. Have Dell Xps i7 processor in (C:/ Drive 11 GB free space) and some time going very slow (page opening) & showing popups (Low Memory) like 1MB.. once I did Disk refrigerant after that solve problem but...

Given the info provided and the general performance problem, a couple of things you could try are:

1. Search for and remove malware
2. Remove unwanted software that have been installed in soft stealth mode
3. Identify high-resource app and disable/remove it

In the same order, here are guidelines on how to do each:

1. Malware Removal

Download on-demand scanners.
Update your regular antivirus program.
Disconnect from the Internet and reboot in Safe mode
Install and run the on-demand scanners
Run a full scan of your regular antivirus program.

There are any number of web sites that offer detailed instructions on the above process. Two reliable ones are:

How to Remove Malware From Your Windows PC
How to easily clean an infected computer Malware Removal Guide

2. Remove Unwanted Software

i. Click on Start, Control Panel, then on Uninstall a Program
ii. Scan through the list of installed software for suspicious looking programs. If in doubt, google the name of the program to understand its purpose.
iii. If you identify any unwanted program, right-click on it and select Uninstall/Change.
iv. When done uninstalling, simply close the Program Uninstall utility.
Usually a reboot is not necessary, but if the program publisher indicates that one is necessary, you should do so.

3. Identify High-Resource Apps

Here you run the Task Manager to identify apps that are unusually high CPU and/or memory users as well as being software that you are not aware of or don't usually use. Sometimes, it could be a legit app but is suffering a conflict with some other app, and causing the performance degradation. If both conflicting apps are legit, you could try uninstalling and re-installing them.

To run Task Manager, right-click anywhere on empty space in the Task Bar, then select Start Task Manager. Click on the Processes tab to see individual apps, their CPU and memory usage. Click on the CPU column-header to re-order the apps by CPU usage, then on Memory for memory usage.

Dell mini pc running low on mem. can't remove any programs because i haven't loaded any other then the os.what is taking up my mem

You can look at what is taking up memory by pressing CTRL+ ALT + DEL and then selecting Task manager from the bottom.

In task manager open the processes tab, now on the top if you press on MEMORY, the programs get sorted by what is using the most memory, if you click again they get sorted in the other what is using the least memory.

Now you can see and turn off a program if its taking up too much memory, and if you don't need the program.

to close a program click on it, and then on the bottom click on end process.

if you need futher help let me know

Why is it vista operating system memory bog down even you do not open some of its program?what is the procedure to replace it with windows 7?

Open Task Manager by doing , at the same time and release. Under task manager look under programs to see who is eating all the CPU and memory time. I know that opening many programs under IE or Firefox keeps accumulating the amount of memory being taken. I've written to Microsoft and gotten nowhere. They just do not close the programs properly.

I just purchased a Tom Tom XL 335 SE, but when you turn the volume up above 85% there is no sound. I exchanged the gps for a new one and the new one does the same thing. Any ideas for how I can get it to...

This was is a known bug to TomTom. The suggested solution is to update to the newest software version. The Download Page Here is where you can get the newest version.
(1) Ensure that you have the latest version of TomTom HOME installed
(2) Backup your navigation device by clicking Backup and restore in HOME
(3) Make sure you have enough space on your memory card or internal memory.
(4) Transfer your favourites to your new map

Downloading and installing your map
(5) Select your navigation device:

Before you disconnect
(6) If you have a speed camera subscription, install your TomTom speed cameras.

Select your new map

(7) If you have more than one map installed on your device, select the new map. On your navigation device, tap Manage maps in the Preferences menu and then tap Switch map.

Digital key chain and have uploaded the picturesoftware still up

Right click your Task Bar and left click Task Manager.Click Applications and what ever is running will be displayed. At the bottom, center, is CPU usage.Check it for what percent of the CPU is working. If it's 100% then you need to find which program is robbing all the resources.Low RAM installed is the usual reason,a computer simply can't run on the small amount supplied as purchased. Most come with only 512 mb,a simple scan with your virus scanner will virtually bring you down to a crawl.
Back to your problem, you can click on the program once and hit the end program button, this will terminate the the download and give you back your computer. You can always go to "process" in the task manager and double click CPU,this will tell you exactly what is running and how much of the memory it's using.Again you can click that process once and then end the process. But Ram Memory is the main cause for slow or Locked Up computers.Click "my computer",then right click your Drive, then click "properties".At the bottom of the page is RAM,that's what you have to work with. Most computers don't come with even 1GB of RAM,you need at least that much to be able to everyday tasks.

Says memory is low cant print how to fix

Do the following:

1. Make sure that the memory does not have any faxes in it waiting to be sent if so send them.
2. Make sure that the memory does not contain any received faxes still waiting to be printed if so print them.
3. Use the HP ToolboxFX Fax tab to perform fax tasks from the computer. The Fax tab contains links to the following main pages:
● Fax Tasks. Perform such tasks as sending a fax or clearing the fax memory.
Fax Data Properties. Manage the space used to store faxes on a computer. These settings apply only if you have chosen to send or receive faxes remotely from the computer.

Enhanced I/O
The enhanced I/O (EIO) feature allows all-in-one memory to be used for storing data received from the
host computer. When EIO is enabled, more data can be sent to the all-in-one in shorter amounts of time
so that the user can return to the software program more quickly. The

EIO feature has the followingoptions:
Auto. The all-in-one uses EIO memory allocation to increase the speed of data transfer from the host computer to the all-in-one, if necessary. The default setting is Auto.
Off. The minimum amount of all-in-one memory is used to store data that is sent from the host computer.
Page Protect. The formatter creates the entire page image in page-buffer memory before physically moving the media through the all-in-one. This process ensures that the entire page is printed.
