Mintek DTV-263 26 in. LCD Television... Problem:

I HAVE A MINTEK DTV263 26" LCD TV/DVD THAT I DESPERATELY NEED A USER/OWNERS MANUAL. I BOUGHT IT USED AND NEVER GOT ONE. IT SEEMS LIKE THE CONTRAST IS OFF A LITTLE BIT AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADJUST IT. I ALSO DON'T HAVE THE REMOTE. WHICH I'M PRETTY SURE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO THE MENU/SETTINGS. MINTEK'S SITE OFFERS THE REMOTE WHICH I JUST ORDERED BUT SAYS TO CALL FOR THE MANUAL. THE NUMBERS THEY GIVE: 18776468358 AND 9096312600 ARE ALWAYS BUSY! ANYONE HAVE A MANUAL FOR THIS MINTEK DTV263 LCD TV/DVD? OR A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER TO TRY? THANX IN ADVANCE TO MY HERO WHOMEVER THEY MAY BE. ALOHA

    TRIED THAT BEFORE I POSTED. NOT THE SAME AS THE DTV 323 OR ANY OF THE OTHECRS THAT HAVE AN ACCESSIBLE MANUAL. THANX FOR TRYING THO. I APPRECIATE THE EFFORT. ALOHA

    I can't use my remote control or manually change from, dvd mode to tv mode. Nothing works manually.

I suggest you go to their website at: http://www.mintekdigital.com/user_man.asp The DTV263 is not available online, but the DTV323 is there and this should be the 32" version of the same set. Download the manual for the 32" version.

On-screen Menu
Actually, it is not a Projection TV Problem. The problem is with a Mintek DTV-265 26" flat screen digital TV (not projection). I have not yet resolved the problem by unplugging the set, pressing the eject button and replugging in the set nor have I had any other suggetions. The manual clearly indicates Mintek DTV-265 26" (not Mintek DTV-263) but I feel they are very similar; however, the manual does not mention losing/restoring the on screen menu.
