SOURCE: hello, i got maximus formula

This is your board by the numbers you supplied:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131199
You have Via P4M900 and VT8237 chipsets and Realtek ALC662(sound)
This is Asus's link for your board:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5VD2VM_SE/#download
It's supported to Windows Vista so, it may or may not work with Windows 7.
You can try your sound here, if necessary:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
and, this is Via's link:
http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp
It appears your board has the support for Windows 7, if that is what you are running so these should be all you need. Let me know if I can help you further.

Lan driver

I recommend that you state your motherboard make/model; usually drivers depend on that and on your operating system.
You may download drivers (usually) from either your System manufacturer's website or/and your motherboard manufacturer's website. It is also possible that you will be able replace your m/b CD from your m/b manufacturer's website, or else email them.

I was wondering if my pentium dual core E5700 would work in a msi p35 neo2??

It should work just fine - The Pentium E5700 is an LGA775 and so is the MSI P35 Neo2.
However, installing a processor into a motherboard is a bit more complicated than simply plugging it in, so I would consider having a professional install it for you.

I have a ECS P4M800-M7 (V3.1) motherboard , does this motherboard supports Intel Dual Core E5700 ?

this motherboard supports the following
LGA775 socket for Intel Pentium 4/ Celeron D/ Pentium D processor
FSB 800/533 MHz
so anything above that might not work or just simply be a waste of money

the e5700 will fit as it's the same socket configuration as the motherboard but here's the rub, the 5700 is only compatible with motherboards that have intel chipsets and, according to the website, your motherboard doesn't have an intel cjipset, but a via chipset.

so the simple answer is no!

Processor complaint

The manufacturer site states:

Socket 478 supports the Intel Pentium 4 processor up to 533MHz FSB

So as long as you get a Socket 478 type P4 processor with a 533MHz FSB or less, it should work.
