Lang Convection Oven

Model GCCOS-11 This unit is a brand new unit. The oven will raise to temp and hold temporarily but will not reheat after cooling down. The tech support at Lang had me replace the control board but it did not fix the problem, I think the temp probe is the issue.

SOURCE: Superba convection oven probe display problem

I had a similar problem today with my KitchenAid Superba wall convection oven (2002 model). I was roasting tomatoes at 225 degrees F for 3 or 4 hours when the control pad changed and showed that the probe was in use (never have I used it and had to look for it). I, too, tried to plug in the probe and take it out, but nothing changed. My worry was that I could no longer use the timed bake function. After trying to reset by turning off the oven at the breaker, with no change, I turned on the oven to 400 F and left it on for 10 - 15 minutes hoping that the high temperature would dry out whatever moisture that must have gotten in the place where the probe connects. Then I turned it off and just waited. After a half hour or so the control pad cleared and nothing showed (that is what you want when the oven is off!). Everything is back to working now.

How to reset and adjust the clock in electrolux AOS201ECA2 electric convection oven 20 GN 1/1 LW?

This article will show you how to reset and adjust the clock in an Electrolux AOS201ECA2 electric convection oven.
The first step is to locate the clock. It is usually found on the front panel of the oven.
Next, locate the buttons that adjust the time. There are usually two or three buttons that control this function.
Press and hold the button(s) until the time resets to 00:00.

Whirlpool Gold Electric convection oven does not heat up.

Check for a broken wire or even broken element on top and bottom of unit. To do this, the unit must be unplugged or otherwise removed from power completely, then remove the screws that hold each heating element in place and gently pull out and inspect the wire connections. You should have just enough slack to check them. There should also be just enough slack to strip the wire clean to make the new connection to the heating element.

If the repair has been done before, you may need to fish a new lingth of high temp wire into the location.

I have purchased a new Homemaker Convection Oven MODEL AOT-F901 from Kmart in Joondalup WA. When I use it the light comes on and off continiously - should this be happening????????

This is normal for the oven. The heating element comes on until the required temp is reached, then switches off until the temp goes down a bit - then it comes on again to maintain temp. Hope you're still enjoying your oven...

Lang Platinum series convection oven

I believe the fan is supposed to rotate one way, then stop and spin the other way, ie. clockwise, then counter clockwise. Did the service guys check this? what service company did you use? You probably already know this but make sure the sides of the pan are NOT touching any of the sides of the oven. I work for a service company myself and I have to say if I got this call and neither of those two things solved it, I would be stumped!

F-3 signal on Jenn-Air SVE47600, grill-range, self-cleaning convection oven

The F3 means there is something wrong in the sensor circuit, sensor/wiring/clock. F3 Problem: Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD): Solution: Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Dacor Oven - convection fan stays on while on "bake" setting

Question: does the unit appear to hold the correct temperature? Most convection units only turn the heating elements on and off...not the fan. If the unit is reporting operating temp and then taking other direction...and it is cooking right...you're done.
