The cord must have been malfunction or there are parts inside the cord that has been destroyed.
Try replacing the cord or if nothing happens replace it with a new one.

It is getting increasingly difficult to clean the coffeemaker when the clean light comes on. vinegar doesn't touch it. This morning I used a whole bottle of CLR over 5 attempts which finally got the...

This is my solution and so far it's worked great. I use "Dip It" coffee maker cleaner, following the instructions on the dip it bottle. I use the clean cycle and run the 5 cups of water and 1/2 bottle of dip it. Once it runs through, I run two cycles of clean cold water. I unplug the coffee maker and let it sit over night. I get up, reset my clock and "presto" the light doesn't come on. I run 2-3 pots of coffee daily so I end up cleaning it as soon as the light comes on haven't had any problems since I started doing my cleaning this way. Before that, I was about to scream! I hope this works for you.

My machine has stopped producing hot water. The lights don't even flash to show it's heating up when I switch it on, it just goes straight to ready mode & then when I brew some coffee it comes out...

Either your coffee boiler elements are damaged or the thermostats on there are damaged or tripped, use an ohms meter to check element and thermostats.

Coffee stays in brewer and is wet coffee tastes bitter. very little goes in the waste bin and is very wet

Try to clean the showers both upper and lower on the removable coffee group. If they are blocked from dry coffee then you have the result you describe. If not then you presure pump my not pump properly or you have a lot of scale that blocked the water flow.
Also check the water if it hot enoght since if the thermostat can stop before the water heat up to 95 C and if it is cold we can have the result you have mention.
Good luck.

Keurig coffee maker is on, lights lit, machine said it is brewing but no water is coming out

Even though the light is on, this does not mean the element that heats the water is working. After you fill the machine with COLD water, and the light has been on for a few minutes, unplug the machine and dump the water out into a bowl. Carefully, feel the water. Is it hot? OR just warm? Or still cold? If it is warm, the element is not heating properly. If it is cold, the element is NOT working. If the water is HOT, then perhaps the tube from the water storage reservoir to the brewing basket is clogged. If that tube is clogged, it needs to be removed from the machine and cleaned out. If the element is not working, or heating the eater hot enough, that element needs replacement. Chances are, the replacement cost/cost of repair would be more then a new coffee maker.

Not heating up still cold

I had the same problem after only a few months. There is a float at the side of the water resivour, this float also has a magnet attached to it and for some reason becomes lodged at the bottom of the tank, telling the machine that there is not enough water in the tank, even when there is. Use a magnet on the outside of the resviour, connect it to the one on the inside and lift very slowly upwards...Hey presto the light stops flashing and the water boils

Presto 2811 cold and weak coffee

How old is the coffeemaker? Is it used every day? If it is within the one year warranty it can be replaced if you ship it to Presto. Or you can call for more information at 800-877-0441 which is customer service.

COFFEE MAKER PRESTO SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN MODEL INOPERATIVE

Sorry to hear.  when mine did this you had to cycle the on button from off-auto-on wait 6 sec and do it again and again till brewed.  Took about 10 min to brew the pot.  seems there is something wrong with the brew heater or thermal switch.  my hotplate got hot but would not brew.
Called Presto and they said its discontinued.  They also said they just put their name on the product and never carried or serviced this model.  If they had a return they would just give a new one but since it is discontinued they cant even do that.  If you have a costco near buy you can take it back as a gift and they sold it for 35.00.  If its under a year old Presto will give you 1/3 the price towards another Presto product.  yay.
