I was wondering too how to assemble the Whisk, saw your post, searched again for the manual and happily found it buried in a drawer! Here is a copy of section on the Whisk attachment.
the attachment is likely bent out of shape making it off balance.I would suggest a new one ,if you dont know were to get one already try-searspartsdirect.com

Have a bowl available (Mooroolbark Victoria) for Model FP2A if it is still required. The motor of the wizz has died & all the other attachments are available as well.
