On the bottom of the machine is the base plate, remove it. You will see a black box (the transformer) that needs to be dismantled. Once inside you will see 2 fuses, one will be blown.
Replace the blown fuse, do not remove both fuses at the same time and get them confused.I bought replacements at Radio Shack. Good Luck

SOURCE: WHERE IS THE FUSE FOR THE JANOME MEMORY CRAFT

Remove the top cover by taking the two large screws and the small one under the handle, LHS.

Remove the left side cover. The hidden screw is a 2.5mm allen accessed through the vent.

Lay the machine on its back and remove the four large phillips screws on the bottom and the small screw for the side, paying extreme caution with respect to the embroidery arm.

CAREFULLY move the bottom to the left and out of the way.

Inside the body of the machine you will see a black box held in place by three or torx/slotted screws. Remove the screws and, as you slowly pull the box out MAKE NOTE OF WHICH WIRES PLUG IN WHERE.

I'll bet it's the fuse. I had the same problem about a year ago.

I was embroidering on my janome 9000 it jammed and went dead and won't come back on!

Be sure that it's still plugged in and not on a plug in that is controlled by a switch that got accidentally turned off.

Other than that it is likely that a fuse got blown or the power supply died. In that case take it in for repair.

I have no power going to the machine. It's as if there is a blown fuse or something inside the machine. Does the Janome 9000 have a fuse inside the machine? If so where.

NO FIRST CHECK THE PLUG SWITCH HAS NOT BLOWN , ALSO CHECK FOR ANY BREAKS IN WIRE . IF ALL OK IT MAY BE THE CARBON BRUSHES HAVE WORN DOWN.

My Janome 9000 also quit a few months ago, took it to repair shop and they replaced a fuse. Have only used it about 2hrs since and it did the same thing again. So we decided to replace fuse...

Your fuse is blowing because there is a bind in the machine. Did they service the machine when they replaced the fuse? If yes, it should be under warranty. Best guess is that it is tight from lack of lubrication, usually at the bushing nearest the hand wheel.

Janome 9000

The first thing to be checked is the fuse in the bottom of the machine. Have a different dealer do this check. If the screen lights up it is not a burned out fuse. Find an Authorized Janome dealer that you trust and let him check this machine. He is the only one who can get circuit boards from Janome. The machine does have built in diagnostics for some problems.
