Airfix instructions The starter set for my son's Red Arrows Gnat A55105 has the wrong instructions. How can I get the right ones online?

If you have not yet done so, I suggest you contact Airfix (owned by Hornby Hobbies) directly and ask about the availability of a copy (PDF format or in print) of the assembly instructions for model A50064.

Happily, the answer was found: 1. Google search for Airfix Instructions Online 2. "-The Airfix Tribute Forum ..... - Airfix Instructions. 3. Scrolled down until I found "Airfix 1/24 North American P51D Mustang ... 14001etc" (The "etc" is in the name of the file!) 4. Highlighted the pages, saved the pictures, expanded to A4, printed. The part numbers in these instructions correspond to the numbers stamped on the parts given to me.

starter switch faulty, not to be confused with key switch. or the relay wired up wrong. The two large wires on the relay should not be on the same connection, pay no attention to the red arrows, but the two large wires are seperate. Again, starter switch my first thought.

Using the right & left arrows, go to CLOCK to set the current time & day.
Press SET
Using arrows, set the day, press SET.
Using arrows, select the hour, press SET.
Select the minute, press SET.
Select the second, press SET.

Using right arrow, press once for program 1.
Press SET.
Select day, press SET.
Select hour, press SET.
Minute, SET.
Repeat this for every day you want this program, five days or seven days,
Programs 1-5 or 1-7.

According to the manufacturer you need to press the playback button, which looks like a triangle pointing to the right. Next you need to hold down the func. /set button, and press the menu button. Next you need to use the up/down arrows, or the right/left arrows to choose the desired language and then press the func. /set button. I hope this helps!
