Horizon andes 200 elliptical trainer. The revs display does not read the revs and the wheel locks up and then releases randomly

If your elliptical trainer does use an electrical outlet for the power supply, unplug your elliptical trainer and then check the power cord. Replace the power cord if it is frayed or damaged . If the power cord is intact and properly connected to the console, then you might have to replace the console when the elliptical display screen is not working.Or the screen could be broken and needs to be replaced.

Steve, the Ex-79 should be very quite. I am surprise to learn yours is making Squeaky Noise. I think there was some problem with your assembly. How long do you have this trainer? does is make sound when you put your weight on a specific footpadel (like left or right)?

My temporary solution would be to lub up your trainer. Please call horizon regarding you issue on 800.244.4192 (or you can email: [email protected]).

You will notice that dirt accumulates on both the wheels and track. First, I suggest reading you user manual. To avoid dirt build-ups, I recommend wiping the machine after each use. This is not instead of a cleaning, but will limit the time you spend cleaning the machine. Quite the opposite. Elliptical trainers are great for people with knee injuries. Elliptical trainers limit the strain on your knees because it is a non-impact machine.

Inspect the ramp that the wheels travel on. If its pocked up or worn then it will cause the unit to feel like its grinding when in use.
