if the units transformer is not big enough, i would use a relay powered by the fan (G) terminal to switch the power from the 40va transformer you have.assuming you want the iWave to run when the fan is on?
if the unit transformer has the capacity, then wire it to the G and common terminals on the furnace.
if you are not trying to power the iWave only when the fan is running let me know what you want it to do.
iWave has been scamming everyone with these. They never work for long and they're not very good. Just buy an ipod nano or touch, much more reliable. That's what happened to me when I had mine.
I have found the iWave, Innovage, and generic "JUMBO" are the same remote. Here is the link to the manual. It looks like it has a easy to do auto-search button. If your TV is not listed use the auto-setup function.
