The problem was the resolution setup on the old crt monitor was not compatible with the new lcd monitor. I changed the resolution to one suggested/recommended by envision and the problem was solved.

you can try to reset your display settings... try 640x480 resolution 60Hz refresh rate this can be done in the control panel under display---settings tab..

good luck.if that doesn't work I would just return it and buy a viewsonic LCD here the price was just marked down from $260 to $130 bucks

SOURCE: Input not supported

The repair shop set the PC video resolution to higher resolution to use with their monitor and did not put it back to the same resolution for your monitor which cannot handle the higher resolution. You need to lower the PC video resolution to the native reslution of your monitor which is 1280 x 1024 @60 Hz.

I just hooked up one of your monitors and there is a sign floating on the screen that says "attention input not supported" what do I do?

try lowering your resolution and see if it goes away.. start with low VGA and move up the list of supported values.. it sounds like a mismatch. also check your geometry (16:9 or 4:3 for example.. it is hangs off the screen it will give an error like that.

Input not supported - floating gray message Win 7

Hi,
You haven't specified what monitor you use but the gray message is most likely due to your screen not being able to handle the high resolution. Try setting it to a resolution below 1600 x 1200.
Best wishes,

INPUT NOT SUPPORTED

Start your Windows in Safe Mode (pressing F8) during boot process and adjust your Display Settings to a lower resolution.... say 1024 x 768. Once fixed, you can play around again increasing the resolution a notch at a time. Fix ya!

Hi receiving input not supported

This message shows that you are not setting the resolution correctly.

When you are in Windows, click on - Control panel - Display - Setting - Screen Resolution (set yo 1280 x 1024). then click ok.

Your floating box will gone.

I got the same problem and got the solution from [email protected].

Hope this will help you.

How do you remove the on screen display?

Sorry, seems like the cctv hardware does not like the type of monitor your using. How you tried a different display and does that correct the problem?
