I have this same netbook given to me as a gift and right out of the box it runs like dog ****.

Replace the SSD with a Runcore or something better and you're slowness will go away.

A slow computer is indicative of adware/spyware/viruses - and you don't need to reinstall the OS (you'll lose all files - even with a "non-destructive recovery").

Go to download.com and download, install, update, and run these programs IN ORDER (they are all free):

CCleaner
Malwarebyte's' Anti-Malware
SuperAntiSpyware

After that, run your Antivirus program.

Then, go back to download.com and download Glary Registry Repair - run that.

And, then run a Windows Defrag.

Finally, do Windows Updates.
