SOURCE: I tried using Inland Pro

Try type 'i' key. If it shows '5' instead, then you accidentally press the "Num Lock" key (in blue color next to PrtSc/SysRq key) and turned on the Number lock. Just press this key again and it should work now -- Lakefront

How do you install the keyboard and mouse with detailed instructions

You generally plug it in to a USB port, push the connect button on the transmitter (if it has a button) and push the connect button on the mouse and on the keyboard (buttons are on the bottom).
Don't forget to put fresh batteries in.
If there was a disk that came with it, run the setup program. Win & should see the devices.

I try to connect with the usb n the usb keeps blinking so tht means the transmitter is now working properly????

Usually with these mice it means that the battery low. It may however mean it is ready to connect, and the connection button on the USB and Mouse must be clicked at the same time, to connect the devices.
Thumbs Up!

My inland pro mouse is blinking but won't point

-Be sure that the receiver unit is tightly plugged into the USB port.
-Be sure there is a clear line of sight between the mouse and the receiver because wireless mice use infer red to communicate which cannot pass through solid objects very well. Try moving the mouse closer to the receiver or vice versa and see if you get an accurate pointer.
-Lastly, be sure the batteries don't need replacing... Sometimes we can over look the simplest of parts.

Thank you I hope this helps.

Keyboard doesn't work. mouse is ok battery new

You say the mouse works OK. You also said the battery is new--I take it you are talking about the keyboard battery.
1. Is the keyboard battery installed correctly?
2. Have you pushed the "connect" button on the USB antenna?
3. Have you pushed the "connect" button on the bottom of the keyboard?

If you have done these 3 things, you should be up and running. If not, you might go into the device manager and delete any keyboard there and try restarting the computer to see if the keyboard is detected.
