This model uses moving side hardware as well as a series of fasteners to attach the non- moving side and mattress support to the head and footboard of the crib. We also have the original assembly instructions available with parts list for you to determine exactly which parts may be missing. You should not attempt to buy hardware to reassemble the crib. Gen 2 has had recall problems with their products. One of the ways a recall is performed is to have the customer send the hardware to the company instead of the whole assembly, rendering it useless. If you received one without hardware, it was probably recalled.
