To isolate the problem, here are the things that you may do for the GBE201W7.

1. Disconnect/reconnect it from the phone or other Bluetooth device.

2. Make sure that it's fully charged.

3. Increase the volume while trying to make a test call.

4. Contact IOGEAR Tech Support if you will get the same problem after trying the first 3 steps. Meaning, this headset needs to get repaired.

No longer have installation disk. Where can I down load it

As you were not very descriptive, I found an area that gave the drivers for the specific device you listed and there are many operating systems that it is compatible with. Once you get the drivers installed it is simply just a matter of pairing the devices (the speaker and the object running the Bluetooth adapter) and you should be ready to go!

Toggle keys don't work as advertised

Hi David,

I located and downloaded a copy of the manual and found the details for [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [Enter] on page 8 that simply says:

"This will switch everything (KVM and sound) to the next port."

There is no mention of this keystroke switching to the next port "only if there is a computer connected" as you indicated in your question. It would seem to me that if the KVM switches to the next port when it receives the [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [Enter] keystroke - it is working as described in the manual that I downloaded from the IOGear site.

The only remaining commands accepted by the KVM are :

[Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [a] [Enter] which is a 5 second Auto Scan mode

and:

[Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] [a] [n] [Enter] which is nearly identical as the a5 second Auto Scan mode - except the the numerical value you type in place of [n] is the number of seconds spent on the next port.

Double check your manual and if you're still having trouble - contact IOGear directly below:

Recently , my computer has been locking up. I boot up and logon just fine , then in the middle of the screen the speaker symbol shows up with a blue bar indicating 100 %. The computer is completely inop...

Your computer is locking up because of a lack of memory resources. This is caused by having too many items in start up folder; virus programs are notorious for gobbling up tremendous amounts of computer power and leaving unit to operate at a crawl if at all. Get rid of all the junk you have running and you will be a happy camper.

My iogear KVM switch will not toggle between machines

Try following the this link and see if it helps. It helps to explain how to connect the keyboard to the KVM since the keyboard port is the only port that will recognize the port switching commands.

If you know the IP address of the print server you can create a TCP/Ip print port. IOGear offers direction on how to create this type of port and here is a link.

Left ear of headphones volume low

Out of the box or before using it, you have to charge the headset for about 4hrs or until no light on the headset (red if it's charging). Then try using it again play around with the volume. If you encounter the same thing then you have to replace it at the store.

Iogear 4 port USB 2.0 HUB (Model GUH285) now working properly

I think it clearly states that the device is defective.... you need to call IOGEAR for RMA if its still under warranty

Iogear problem

Hi. What device are you using? I suggest that you check if the keyboard is hooked up to the correct port. You will see underneath the KVM an icon that looks like a mouse and a keyboard. Make sure that everything is hooked up correctly. It should be okay once you connect them properly. Press "scroll lock" twice.

Mac and Vista

Operating System doesn't deal anything on your problem. The problem depends on the brand of you computers or the type of keyboard you are using.

The GCS632U is designed to work with standard USB keyboard and mouse only. And wireless and gaming keyboards and mice are not guaranteed to work correctly with this KVM switch. If any one of you is using the new Mac Aluminum keyboard, this keyboard will not work with the older version of the GCS632U. But IOGEAR releases a new batch of GCS632U that would work with the Apple Aluminum keyboard.

If you have an Apple Aluminum keyboard that does not work with the GCS632U, you may contact the IOGEAR Tech support and they will process a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) if your device is still under the warranty period.

To resolve your keyboard issue, try to power cycle the KVM switch by disconnecting it from the computers, disconnect also the keyboard and mouse from the KVM switch. Leave it disconnected for two minutes. After two minutes, reconnect everything and reboot the computers.
