NCR 7875 SCANNER/SCALE

I'm getting an error code 5 in the scale display. Could it be that it needs calibration?

Hello

Well regarding this error sending you this display of the scanner in most cases is needed because if the scanner calibration, you have to do is:

Remove the dish from scanner (where you put the products to weigh), there you will see that has a plastic part on the right side, and take away that the bottom is a black button color you need to start to put pressure gauge.
Once you press this button, and is ready to start calibrating, then put him back to the plate and the scanner with a voice that sends you will be asking some weight, so this should have on hand your weights to calibrate the scale.
First the scanner asks 0 kg. in this step not going to put anything in weight, ahi press the button Scale Zero appearing in the panel's scanner,
After asks you to 2.5 kg, is there when you need to put the 2.5 kg asks you, when you have them placed on the plate press Scale Zero, the scanner then will ask now that you put 5kg, then you take away those who had 2.5kg and you put the 5kg, and when you have 5kg in the dish press the button Scale Zero, now the scanner will ask that you put 10k, then take away the 5kg and that he had put the 10k that asks you to press the button and Scale Zero, and finally asks you to the scanner in this 0Kg, then you take away the 10k and leave it with nothing, and press Scale Zero

If the calibration did well Scanner you send a voice message that says Calibration Complet or calbración completed, it is very important that when you calibrating the scanner is not moving or having obstacles that may make the calibration is not made well, good clean plate and that this part of the bottom, which revises the 4 Gomito that has to sustain the plate are complete, that are not broken up or are some more than others and that when you put the dish did not move. fijate also not hit the plate or the chassis of the scanner with something else, so there's no obstacles in the calibration,
If you salio calibration is not well in the display will show a 9Error, this means that there was interference during calibration, it is required to check well before the scanner or do a cleanup.

Hola

First try cleaning under the load plate, and hit the zero scale button. If it doesn't then you need to hit the reset button and recalibrate the scale with weights.

I sure hope before you did all of the above suggestions you simply power cycled the scanner/scale with the deck plate in place first.

This will clear most error 5's with 7875 scanner/scales. If it does not, then the calibration process will need to be completed.

I need USB drivers to allow communication between a pc running Windows XP and an NCR 7875-1000 flatbed scanner/scale. Please copy me at my work email address of [email protected].

Hi there,

First I'd like to thank you for selecting my services. I've located the software for your NRC Scanner scale 7875. You can obtain firmware and related tools from http://www5.ncr.com/support/support_drivers_patches.asp?Class=retail_RealScan

As for the windows drivers they are available for you here http://www.digi.com/support/productdetl.jsp?pid=2628&osvid=57&tp=1&s=0&tp2=0

Select windows xp from the drop down list and then the 4002537_h is the one your looking for, version 5.3

I'll send a copy to your email address.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks,

7875 scanner/scale error code 4.

Problem is with the scale part of theunit, it needs calibrating, you can do this but you do need a set of weights, and it also depends on what country you are in reference the legality after you have done this. But chack fist the top plate is OK not damaged and sits OK, press scale zero. If that does not work there is a cover at the front of the unit sometimes with a seal over it or through the part that stops the cover being shown. Press the button under thisand follow the audio instructions, you will need 2.5kg, 5kg & 10kg or 5lb, 15lb & 30lb depending on ncountry you may need Weights & Measures in to verify afterwords depending on legalities

Cannot calibrate scale error 9 7876 help

Hmm... I know with the 7875, this is normally a power supply issue. But I am not sure how the 7876 gets power. 7875's have an external dc power supply brick. If you have one of those, I would swap it with another one and try to calibrate again.

Don't know if it will work though.
