make sure all straps (especially at the bottom) are pulled tightly. If it is an old pack then the material may just be stretched and there is nothing to do outside of get a newer bag. My pack also sags at the bottom but i just stuff my sleeping bag crammed into the bottom and it fills it out a bit and makes it less saggy. if the bag is not very old, then maybe there is a warranty on it.

We just had this problem last week - it has to do with loosening the straps. Play around with them for a bit and try to loosen, this just loosen the bar so it can be pushed in.
On the front side of the back pack you will notice two sets of snaps, an upper and a lower. Connect the sun shade to the lower set of snaps. Also on th front side of the backpack there is a snap connected to a nylon strap. Secure that strap arround the support rod of the sunshade and to the upper snap on the backpack. connect the two snaps on the back of the sunshade and your done.
