My TEAC PD-H380 cd/mp3 player comes up with a USB error message when I try and play my ipod through it. Ipod works fine when plugged through the TEAC amp. Any idea why it would work on one and not the...

After 16 months our PD-D2610 CD changer has started misbehaving. Some of the 5 positions work fine but positions 1 & 4 almost never work.

I read enough comments from unhappy TEAC owners with similar problems to learn that the drive motor is to blame and that repair sounds like sending good money after bad. I'm going to buy a Sony changer.
