SYMBOL LS1902T1000 I NEED DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO CONFIGURE SCANNER TO WORK ON QUICKBOOKS POS. IT SCANS BUT DOES NOT PASS TEST SCAN.

What I would first is to bring the barcode scanner back to factory defaults. To do this you will need the manual that came with the scanner, on the first page is a bar code that say "enter/exit configuration mode" scan that first and you will hear three beeps, then scan the bar code for "recall defaults" and rescan the bar code to "enter/exit configuration mode" then retry using your scanner, if this does not work bring up "notepad" on your computer and try to scan any bar code form any retail item. This should scan, if it does net then it could be a defective scanner. See page 2 on the manual link

If your M2004 is connected with an RS-232 cable such as the CBA-R01-S07ZAR or the 25-32465-20R the scanner defaults to sending data at 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, software or hardware handshaking. Is it possible the software needs to see a carriage return after the data? If so, Scan Options, Data Suffix, Enter from Adobe page 135 and 136 of 310 of the M2000 Series Product Reference Guide will make the scanner send a carriage return line feed (7013). If your program needs just a CR then scan the Scan Suffix barcode from page 134 of 310 followed by a 1, a 0, a 1 and a 3 from page 175 of 310.

What is the exact model of your scanner. I believe it is indicated on the manual that came with it.

You would need to add an criteria or the rule, like barcode length or type. Than is the the scanner able to understand which barcode should be handled by the specific rule.

it depends on the configuration of your host and scanner. Usually there it works like this:
Connect the scanner to USB or per Keyboard Wedge Select the correct language set for your Scanner Try to scan your barcode if this will not work - enable the barcode you need to scan with the programming barcode from Manual
