How do I fix the kettler tricycle parental control steering system that locks handlebars into place for parental guidance when using the optional pushbar? When it is in lock position, it is not working

I used to have to contact them when I repaired Kettlers at the bike shop.

1- Power off TV
2- Unplug TV from outlet
3- Press and hold in the power button on the side of the TV for 30 seconds (while it is unplugged from the wall)
4- Release the power button
5- Plug in the TV
6- Power the TV back on

I have no idea where you are located, but I assume you're on planet earth. If you're in the United States, file a complaint with the Consumer Product Safety Commission!

Option 1) Download a free key logger from download.com and then install this on the locked computer. You can then find any passwords to the parental controls. You may need to download on another computer and use a USB pen drive to transfer it.

Option 2) Search for facebook on Google, under the results look for the link called "Cached". Parental controls programs will fail to block this.

There should be a nut around the colum that comes up from the wheel and connects to the handlebars that is probably loose. If you can't get it yourself I have found that if you take it to a local bike shop they will fix these things usually for free or at a minimal charge usually less than five bucks. Take to a mom and pops type store you will get better service and like I said they will usually fix these things on the spot for free. hope this helps

hello Lock/Unlock Parental Controls
Selecting this option lets you lock and unlock parental controls settings
using a password.
If you do not lock parental controls, none of the settings for V-Chip,
Channel Block, or Front Panel Block will take effect.
If you forget your password, press the MENU button, then select Parental
Control (the password entry screen appears). Simultaneously press and
hold CH+ and VOL+ on the front panel for 8 seconds. Parental Controls
unlock and the Parental Control menu appears. You can enter a new
password by locking the Parental Controls again.
Front Panel Block
Selecting this option lets you block (disable) or unblock (enable) the TV’s
front panel. The remote still tunes to any channel. When using this as a
Parental Control method, remove access to any remote that is capable of
operating the television while you have the front panel blocked.
Don’t forget to lock parental controls after you change the status. If you
don’t, the front panel block will not take effect .if this don't work get back to me i've got manual good luck

Kettler has a great customer service staff. Contact them for further assistance. I went to their website and all it shows is to push up on the parental lock in front of the childs steering wheel to unlock it. They did not show any FAQ's pages with any info on what to do if it gets stuck. Hope this helps.
