You can access your emails through your email client eg Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook. Before configuring your device, you will first need to create your email account through cPanel. Your cPanel account login details were sent to you when you first registered with Netorigin. If you are unsure on how to create an email account, then please refer to the following article.
Once the email account has been created you can then access your emails on your computer or laptop. In order to do this you will need to open your email program (eg MS Outlook, Apple Mail), enter in your email address and password, and follow the prompts.
For most programs this is all you need to enter, however some programs require you to enter in additional details which can be found below:
Username: The email address you are checking email for (i.e.
[email protected])
Password: The email address password specified
Incoming Host Address (IMAP or POP3): mail.yourdomainname.com.au (where yourdomainname.com.au is the domain name for the email account)
Outgoing Host Address (SMTP): mail.yourdomainname.com.au (where yourdomainname.com.au is the domain name for the email account)
IMAP Incoming Port (recommended): 993
POP3 Incoming Port: 995
Outgoing SMTP Port: 26
If you are using an Apple Device (eg Apple Mac) please select "Advanced" and enter in the following:
Port: 993
Use SSL: Tick
Authentication: Password (on some devices you may need to tick a box instead)
Allow insecure authentication: Tick
If you are using a Windows Device (eg Microsoft Outlook) please enter in the following:
Click 'More Settings'
Click the tab 'Outgoing'
Tick 'Outgoing Server requires Authentication' then click OK
