This is a small 60mm refractor-- the manual only has assembly instructions it does not tell you HOW to use the scope to find objects in the night sky--
Read my TIPS on my profile page--
and there are TWO scopes with the name Polaris and Galileo--
Hello, bad image intensifier tube and possible ccfl with it coil. Major repair on MK238 scope. I think they make a generation 2 tube for this scope like 350,360,390, and 410. Call AT ATN. stewbison
Not really, maybe at extreme shooting---lucky shot. The most effective range would be 200 yrd and if you are really good with 250 yrds. But you got to be excellent shot and good at it.
With a 25-06 Winchester volocity of 2800--2950 ft/sec you could hit that **** willie coyota at 500+ yards with a excellent 3X9 adjustable scope. But at night without a first night vision scope, no. stewbison
Hello - nice looking scope and with 100 % rave reviews.
Not much to adjust really - cover off , battery inserted , turn on - adjust brightness.
IR illuminator on'off.
I've just read through page 5 on user manual - at least they have a 2 yr warrantee and some phone numbers to get support.
Here is user manual / guide + trouble shooting tips.

A simple test is looking at a distant street light - just incase the 'amplifier' is very sensitive.
(that causes BLACK spots) .
If the amp is damaged , they would have a test -- Ray
