motherboard
PSU
CPU + COOLER
Connect your motherboard to PSU and see, if any LED light comes from motherboard. If LED is on, then try to turn motherboard on and see if cooler works.
Are case wires (power +, power -, hdd +, hdd -, reset+, reset -, power led+, power led - and speaker wire ) connected correctly?

If the power wire (sometimes called POWER SW) is not connected correctly, when you press the power button of case, PC just won't turn on.
If PC turns on and CPU fan spins, then try to add RAM, Graphics card and try again.
Next step is to hear BEEP sound. One short beep sound is normal, anything else is not normal and indicates the problem of the specific hardware according to the sound code. Sound code is BIOS dependent. In case ASUS A8V-E Deluxe, it is Award BIOS. Check below for Award BIOS beep codes
1 long, 2 shortIndicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information
1 long, 3 shortVideo card not detected __ (reseat video card) or bad video card
Beeps repeating endlessly __ RAM problem.
Repeated high frequency beeps while PC is running __Overheating processor (CPU)
Repeated beeps alternating high & low frequency ___Issue with the processor (CPU), possibly damaged
