The Rubber Washer fits up on the needle that punchers the K-cup.

I lost the one off my machine and was getting a lot of coffee grounds

in my coffee.

I went to Lowes and picked up a 3/16T Rubber Grommet. 7/16OD x 3/16ID.

Works Just Fine Again.

Reassembly instructions

That little screen that lies at the bottom of the bucket needs to be snapped out and the washer replaced. You have to unscrew the bottom, carefully remove the spring loaded lever, ( don't loose the spring) After fishing the lost rubber washer out of the hole, I used a screw driver or other similar item to pop the screen out. ( use care not to poke a hole in screen.) Next replace lever and spring and push the Star ended piece through the bottom and THEN fasten the washer. Replace all excess pieces and it should be fixed provided the washer isn't badly worn. This is the only way I know how to fix it after countless different web pages and searches.

Coffee very weak, some grounds are still dry after coffee is made

I2 have same. Problem = not a nozzle missing, but a black plastic diffuser mounted below the orifice. Plastic becomes brittle and disintegrates within weeks. Pieces fall into grounds so you may never notice. Photo is of pieces I recovered from the grounds. Horribly bad bit of engineering on an otherwise great product. (Saved how much over cost of stamped stainless?) I have not been able to find replacement part, although OEM piece would fail again within weeks. ALL ProLine makers MUST fail in the same way - the plastic part CANNOT survive actual use. KitchenAid should offer steel replacement! ad74f59.jpg

Error Code 8 ?

The brew unit can`t move to the right position. This means usually that is full of used grounds and needs to be cleaned. Use your finger and clean out everything stuck inside, and then run the cleaning program. If this doesn`t help, contact your servicecenter, then it may be that the brew unit needs to changed or revised.

Bit's from my machine

I can help you but you need to identify the parts you need on the parts diagram. Download the diagram from http://cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_parts_diagram.asp. Then email the list to [email protected] and someone with email you back with a parts total.

You can also look at http://cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_replacement_parts.asp to see if you see the parts you need.
