Problm is the power cord going down the wand (exposed type) is bad.
This is an apx 28 inch long cord.
I cannot find a replacment without buying the entire wand.
The wand is $39.95 and the cord cannot be more than $5.00
Where can I get the cord?

Call the number above, they have the whole wand in list, but I am sure they will sell a spare cord.

Have you called Sears parts department? On the website they have the wand/cord assembly for $25.71
I would call and see if they just the cord, the number listed is (800) 252-1698.
Unfortunately, this is how Kenmore makes their profits. A vacuum repair service might be able to install just the cord, but would charge at least that much for labor.

You are not reading the prginal problem and supplying part number and prices fot the wrong thing.
That is the first road I went down.
Never mind trying any more.
