Kenmore vacum wand power cord

Kenmore Canister Vacum

Two different Power Heads

Problm is the power cord going down the wand (exposed type) is bad.
This is an apx 28 inch long cord.
I cannot find a replacment without buying the entire wand.
The wand is $39.95 and the cord cannot be more than $5.00
Where can I get the cord?

    Do you guys read what the problem is befire you answer?

    Those are the long, into the wall cords.

    I need the 28 inch long cord that goes down the wand to power the head!

Have you called Sears parts department? On the website they have the wand/cord assembly for $25.71

I would call and see if they just the cord, the number listed is (800) 252-1698.

Unfortunately, this is how Kenmore makes their profits. A vacuum repair service might be able to install just the cord, but would charge at least that much for labor.

How do i reset a sears cannister vacum cleaner

Hello, you can not reset the canister only the power head, if y ou picked up something and it got caught in the roller, it will shut the motor off, on top off the head is a red botton take a pen or something small to push the botton, and that will rest the powert head, if the canister is not running the cords go bad, and will need to be replaced. There is a motor in the power head that could be out or the receptacle, electric cord on power unit or loose wire in power head.

im not familiar with kenwood vacs (i'm in uk not us) but usual cause of this type of fault is a fracture in the power cord where it enters the appliance or at the cable clamp. cut 6ins of the power cord and remake the connection
