Internal Part's Guide for Model A0J-1201 fan

An part within the housing has broken that is partially responsible for the oscillation of the fan. The fan has stopped oscillating in all directions - the blades turn but no oscillation. The part description would be too hard to explain so do you have or know where I can gain access to the internal parts listing??? Your help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.

You need a new plastic gear for the oscillator

Cresguy- thank you for the help. Can you help me further and let me know if a parts list is available so I can identify the part number. Otherwise it may be difficult to call the manufacturer and try and describe the part. Furthermore, how can you be sure that you are naming the correct part?? Thanks again.

Lakewood fan table top gearbox oscillator for 1988 model

A "gearbox oscillator" is not a commonly used term in the context of vehicles or machinery. It's possible that it may refer to a component within a gearbox that is responsible for oscillating or vibrating, but without more information it is difficult to provide a specific answer. If you could provide more information about the make and model of the equipment this gearbox is found in, I may be able to give you more information.

Remington Hedge Wizard - driver/oscillator assembly broken - motor turns blades do not oscuillate

Hello There, blades oscillating are usually controlled by the motor. When the motor is rolling then the fan not oscillating is usually a minor problem. Usually the blades are connected to the motor using a rod which is directly connected to the blades.
If the oscillator assembly is faulty this could need replacement of a part. And this would require expert help. Which part exactly is broken? How well can you handle mechanical assembly parts? i could try to get you an assembly guide to help determine which part is faulty exactly but i need to know the above.
Hoping to hear from you soonest.

Lasko 4920 won't oscillate...

Buy a new fan or do without the oscillation untIl it breaks worse, thenndiscard or pay a lot to have a new part made. Lasko will nOt and doesn't stock the replacement Teflon partial gear that wears out. Planned obsolescence!!! Buy a Honeywell or more reputable fan with a better warranty Hint: they don't exist anymore!! Caveat Emptor!!!!! THERE ARE NO MORE BUSINESS ETHICS IN AMERICA!!!!!!

I stupidly tried, in the wee hours half asleep, to force the fan to turn to a certain direction when the oscillation was turned off. Something broke and rattled around, and now the oscillation is...

Unfortunately, no - the manufacturer does not supply replacement parts. It is a throw-away item.
