An part within the housing has broken that is partially responsible for the oscillation of the fan. The fan has stopped oscillating in all directions - the blades turn but no oscillation. The part description would be too hard to explain so do you have or know where I can gain access to the internal parts listing??? Your help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.
You need a new plastic gear for the oscillator
Cresguy- thank you for the help. Can you help me further and let me know if a parts list is available so I can identify the part number. Otherwise it may be difficult to call the manufacturer and try and describe the part. Furthermore, how can you be sure that you are naming the correct part?? Thanks again.
There will be a oscillation driving counter wheel present inside it which is made of plastic tat would have got damaged or broken so replace the wheel then ur fan will start oscillating
