Hello, does this Famous Trail end FT-350 Monocular have just one battery to operate the monocular and IR? Is this batteries holder a plastic plate or a screw in button? If it is a button, then take a piece of round brass stock that is basically the same size the hole that contains the batteries. First have the same size threads and the same size of the bore cut in to the round brass
stock and have it cut to size. It needs to be cut in the correct length, if not it will push the batteries through the battery container. stewbison

Can i fit a 305 engine in my gmc jimmy witch has a v6 vor tech in it now

It can be done. It's the same block as a 350 so you should be able to use the same parts as a 350 swap. It's a tight fit for sure and requires some specialized parts. Look around on the internet for 350 swaps or check some of the off road mags. You shouldn't have any trouble finding complete swap kits or step by step instructions as well as what type of special pieces you will need. Hope this helps.

I need to change the sproket on a Husqvarna 350. Having trouble getting the sproket off. What is the best way?

Hi rawhidejim2, I will try to help you with this procedure. You will have to remove the 2 bolts holding the bar and chain and remove them both. Now you will see the drum and clutch shoes that have to be removed to get to the sprocket. To do this you have to stop the crankshaft from turning. Remove the spark plug and get a piece of starter rope or any rope you have and push rope in plug hole to prevent the piston from moving. To remove the clutch assembly get a punch and use to tap on the center part of the assembly that one solid piece, (not the shoes with the springs). This has left hand threads so to loosen tap the center hub sharply, (clockwise). Once the clutch is removed you will have the sprocket. The re-install is opposite of removal. Turn counterclockwise to tighten. I hope this is helpful to you. Best regards and good luck. Denis.

I have a duo fast CN 350 nailer and it works ok but it don't seem to let the driver blade to come up high enough to get on nail head

You will need to pull the top off to get to it to check it out, If the drive pin is bolted on, make sure the bolt didn't loosen up, most are one piece, welded on, If you don't find anything in there preventing it from coming up, I would grind off the tip, nice and square and flat, then put it back together. I have a feeling you will find a piece of white plastic holding the piston down, part of the head there, It will need to be replaced. Check it out, hope this helps.

Engine cranks but does not start

is there fuel inthe vehicle , or do you get spark at the spark plug lead , to test that you will have to get a screw driver with the insulated handle , you then pull out one of the spark plug lead and put the screw driver in it and hold the screw on the handle and let the metal part go to some metal part of the engine ( about 1/4 away and then let some one crank the engine , while the engine is being cranked you will notice spark on the metal piece of the screw driver jumping to the metal piece of the engine . reply me what you found .

It appears to be the power fuze that is blown.
You need some soldering skills and some patience to attack this problem.
