Hello I have the same problem as stated red light errore. It does not print. Please, contact your assistance. What should I do?

Assuming you are getting the generic "Printer Error" message, the following is the only working resolution I could find for it, posted by FixYa user willyinfcva:

"I downloaded the Epson CX5400 manual from 2manuals.com, and the remedies for the printer error light were plain and fell into 5 categories; print or carriage motor ohms out of spec (not likely), a latch holding the paper eject mechanism not locked down, or one of the sensors for head or paper position not functioning properly. Confident with this new information, I aerodusted both sensors, cleaned a smudge off the CR alignment strip behind the head carriage, and also reseated the head for good luck, as I'd had it out before. I ran a test and ... it worked!"

When putting it on all lights are flashing one way ,at the same time as a results the printer doesnot want to print because one light should be on to show that it can print.

All service errors are indicated by all lights flashing as the primary notification or code. Please press the continue button to display the secondary error message or code. The secondary code indicates an area or function which has the error.

The operators manual does not give any indication about what to look for if the error light is on.

Here's what the manual states about the paper light:
This light indicates the near end of the paper roll. Install a new paper roll and the printer will continue printing. When the light blinks, it indicates the self-test printing standby state or macro execution Standby state when the macro execution command is used.

We have the E260d. What does it mean when the light bulb flashes. We are unable to print. What can we do?

You can unplug the printer from the wall, then leave it off for about 30 seconds then plug it back in. That should reset the printer, if not read what the message says on the screen, or you may have to navigate through the settings to see the error message.

Just installed new printer Lexmark E260dn all lights flashing- printer does not print

This light sequence means that the printer has a service error, and printing has stopped.


Please Press Continue button (green button) twice to see the secondary code. The secondary error code will help locate the problem. Please take note which light will be flashing for this will reveal what problems you have on the printer.

My tsp600 receipt printer will not print and the error light is on.

Dear Oasis Pools,

Please advise if the error light is flashing or solid. Also, perform a self test by turning the printer OFF, hold the feed button down, then turn the printer ON at the same time. A self test should print out. Did this print?

4 red lights on printer won't work

The printer operator panel has two buttons and sixlights (the Continue button is both a light and button). Lights indicate the status of the printer. Buttons are usedto continue or cancel the current print job. The lights are represented byReady/Data light, Toner Low/Replace PC Kit light, Load/Remove Paper light,Paper Jam light and Error light. Solid red light. This indicates the printer is in an error state and will not print until the error is cleared. Check to make sure the printer is not out of labels or out of ribbon if it is a TLP model.
A solid red light will occur if
  • the printer is out of labels
  • the printer is out of ribbon ( TLP models only )
  • the printhead is open, not latched down all the way. Press down on the top cover of the printer to see if the error light clears and goes to green.
  • the ribbon spool is slipping on the ribbon spool holder on TLP models:

Flashing amber warning light

Hello,

The problem is that the MICR Toner Wire was placed into the wrong jumper position on the TROY Font Card. By moving it to the other jumper, this should clear your 'Invalid Toner Sense State' Error.
